The Korean community portal site, DC Inside, recently held a poll asking the public to vote on the male celebrity whose advertisements influenced women to open their purses the most.
From June 26 through July 3, a total of 45,049 people took part in the poll with 17,532 (38.9 percent) of the votes going to Lee Min Ho.
Lee Min Ho currently advertises for cosmetics brand Innisfree and has demonstrated his influence abroad.
Following behind in a close second was Kim Hyun Joong with 14,117 votes (31.3 percent) who previously served as The Face Shop’s model for two years.
Rounding out the top three in third place was Lee Seung Gi with a distant 3,924 votes (8.7 percent) who is currently the spokes model for cosmetics brand The Saem.
Other male celebrities included in the poll were Jang Keun Suk (Nature Republic), Super Junior’s Choi Siwon (Mamonde) and TVSQ (Missha).
