At the set in Youngjongdo, Lee Min Ho finished filming for SBS Monday-Tuesday drama 'Faith' on the 30th.
He said, "I got to meet the appealing character of Choi Young through this drama. I am thankful to all the viewers and Minoz (the name of his fanclub) who loved 'Faith' and Choi Young. I would also like to express my thanks towards all the film crew and staff members that worked hard on this drama with me for the past six months."
Lee Min Ho added, "I feel rewarded because even though we were in an exhausting situation, the actors and production crew didn't complain at all as we worked together to do our best."
He also said, "As an actor in the drama, I believe that the faith of the viewers is the most important so I fought until the end with my willpower. I have no regrets because I gave it my all."
Lastly, Lee Min Ho said, "After carrying around this heavy burden on my shoulders for half a year, I want to put everything down and just eat warm home food and then sleep for 3 days like General Choi Young. I would like to applaud everyone that stayed with us until the last episode."
According to Lee Min Ho's rep, Lee Min Ho suffered as he contracted the flu on the very first day of filming. He also sustained big and small injuries throughout the continuous action scenes, igniting the concern of his fans. However, he did not want to mention the injuries because he was worried about how it would affect the morale of actors and crew.
When the director gave the last OK for the last scene, all the staff members and actors celebrated with applause. Afterwards, Lee Min Ho gave a hug in thanks to each and every one of the 100 or so staff members.
Lee Min Ho received positive reviews for his first attempt at acting in a historical drama for breathing life into such a complex and unique character.
